A snowy morning at home marking BPMs on a bunch of records that I recently dug out of storage. I hit record and mixed for about 45 minutes before I came to a record I didn’t like! Enjoy.
We had a great time at Boulder’s Creekfest this weekend — our fourth year opening things up with a lil’ Dino Disco on the community stage! It’s always a great scene down there. Dancing is one of life’s great joys and it’s such a blessing to see folks laughing, dancing, and having fun with their families. Thanks for being a part of it, y’all. See you next year. <3

We had an amazing time at the Happy Thursday ride in Boulder last week, with Duck La Rock playing an all vinyl set of disco classics on 45. No recording as this was a classic bush doof, but here’s a spotify playlist that should approximate the effect. Hope to see you there next time and Happy Thursday!
Duck La Rock is Boulder, CO’s most prominent web-footed disc jockey. You might say he has… top BILLing. He first landed more than a decade ago with a one hour mix of reggae and dub in the mood of a 60’s WWII movie, Duck La Rock Behind Enemy Lines and later dropped a mix of shoegaze, ambient, and alt rock styled after a series on Masterpiece Theater, Duck La Rock Goes Riding to Hounds. He’s now rocking select parties in the front range, so keep an ear out!
