Duck La Rock is Boulder, CO’s most prominent web-footed disc jockey. You might say he has… top BILLing. He first landed more than a decade ago with a one hour mix of reggae and dub in the mood of a 60’s WWII movie, Duck La Rock Behind Enemy Lines and later dropped a mix of shoegaze, ambient, and alt rock styled after a series on Masterpiece Theater, Duck La Rock Goes Riding to Hounds. He’s now rocking select parties in the front range, so keep an ear out!
Thanks to everybody who came out and shook a tail feather for Dino Disco at Boulder Creek Fest this year! We had a blast opening the family stage with Jeff and Paige for the third year running. Enjoy these recordings of our sets on Saturday and Sunday — if ya don’t know then ya don’t know!

Like Stevie Wonder, this one was hotter than July! Great crowd, tons of smiles. Thanks to all who helped make the party. Many thanks to DV8 for the cocktails (the Pineapple Sunrise was perfect). We chowed down on Colombian empanadas from the Que Rico Parce food truck; the salsa with the beef empanadas was amazing. Cap all that off with brunch treats from Shamane’s Bakery and coffee from Ampersand at the Junkyard’s cafe. So good. Thanks to everyone for being there!
We were excited to join Poppi’s Planet and Jeff & Paige at Boulder Creek Fest’s community stage on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend! We got down with friends. We had snow cones, pupusas, bao, and the FED Boulder burger. So good.
