Msr. La Rock is keeping himself busy this summer, and this week’s no exception — got three *** ALL AGES *** events this weekend to shake a tail feather with The Duck.
Summer has come to Colorado! June’s my favorite month here, the outdoors have such a special vibe. This year we celebrated at Bohn Park in beautiful Lyons, CO with the Summer Vibes bike and run festival.
Here’s Duck’s full playlist from the day… the stuff Spotify has in their database, anyway… (heh).
—– Previously —– The good folks behind the Old Man Winter Rally are hosting the Summer Vibes Rally, a day of warm weather mountain adventure in Lyons on Saturday, June 21 and I’ll be playing all morning long! Come compete or just hang, cheer for the competitors, and get psyched with us!

Chuffed to announce that I’ll be playing the awards ceremony for the Ironman 70.3 Boulder awards ceremony at Avery Brewing Company on Saturday, June 14, from 4 -8!
This is my second year there and it’s great to be working with the team from Ironman, Avery, and BCC Live again. See you soon!
This was our fifth year doing Dino Disco at the Boulder Creek Fest’s Creekside for Kids stage withJeff & Paige. It’s always a lot of fun, one of my favorite parts of summer right there at the start of it. It’s special to play by Boulder Creek at such a beautiful time of year.
As always we were joined by Pam the Dinosaur, Pickles the Pteranodon, and as-yet-unnamed triceratops. Glad you came to dance with us!

Just a few weeks before COVID shut down the country, my wife Liz and I took our 7 and 9 year old daughters to the 50th Anniversary of The Loft, the iconic invitation-only party that contributed to the rise of disco, hip hop, and house music.
Since its founding four months before Stonewall, attendees of The Loft have come from different classes and backgrounds, with about 60% being black and 70% gay, and a radical egalitarianism.
The Loft is non-profit and has never held a liquor license. Once inside, you don’t pay for the coat check. A buffet meal is served at some point, and water, lemonade, fruit, and snacks are available throughout.
